This Privacy Policy describes how PinBoard - Image & Board Downloader for Pinterest™ ("we", "our", or "the Extension") handles information when you use our Google Chrome extension.

1. Summary (No Data Collection)

We do not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal data. Everything the extension does is executed purely locally inside your browser on your device.

2. Permissions and Data Usage

• activeTab & scripting: Used solely to inspect the current Pinterest page DOM to detect pin image links when you explicitly open the extension popup or start scanning. No browsing history is collected or transmitted.
• downloads: Used solely to save the requested image files or generated ZIP archive directly to your computer's local Downloads folder.
• storage: Used solely to remember your local preferences (such as auto-scroll speed and download quality choices) on your own device.
• Host permissions (*://*.pinimg.com/*, *://*.pinterest.*/*): Required to fetch full-resolution image binaries directly from Pinterest's image delivery network so they can be zipped and downloaded without CORS blocking.

3. Third-Party Servers

The Extension communicates directly only with Pinterest servers (to fetch pin images requested by you). We do not operate intermediate proxy servers or telemetry databases.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically to reflect updates to our extension or legal requirements. Any modifications will be posted directly to this URL.
